Question about 'Set Defaults in Explorer'

I have a question about Set
Defaults in Explorer: When I am working in one iexplorer window and want to
click on another desktop internet link, that link snatches the window that I am working
in and readdresses it to clicked link - I know that I can right click and ask for
a new window but is there any way of configuring which will not give me a new window
for everything?

Go to Internet Options, Advanced tab and look under Browsing. Uncheck the box next
to Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts.
