Question about 'Getting Network Neighborhood to recognize newly attached computers'

I have a question about Windows 98 network neighborhood connecting to my Windows 95 network. I have a laptop with Windows 98 with a network card. I have determined that the protocols are different. I do not have NetBEUI or IPX/SPX protocols in Windows 98. How do I get the needed protocol to my Windows 98 network to have my laptop connect to my Windows 95 network?

You do have them, you just have to add them. Go into your network properties (right click on network neighbourhood >> properties) Then you have to Add a Protocol. You will want to add MS protocols (whichever ones you need either NetBEUI, or IPX/SPX or both)
