Question about 'Prevent Programs From Changing Your File Types'

I have a question about Prevent Programs From Changing Your File Types:

I did a fresh install of Win98 for my a friend, and I noticed that when I tried to open a JPG file in Windows Explorer, it was opening with Microsoft Photo Editor. I didn't want that to happen, so I went in and THOUGHT I was correctly changing the file association to Internet Explorer (which is what I wanted) Now when I double click a JPG, nothing at all happens... Any ideas? I also don't get the little preview window that used to show me a picture of the JPG before double clicking it. (I have "view as web page" enabled)

Highlight one of the JPG's with the left mouse button, and "while holding down the Shift key", right-click on the file and choose "Open with". When the programs box comes up, scroll down to and click on "iexplore". Put a check in the box that says "Always use this program to open this type of file". Click Okay. All your JPG's should now open with Internet Explorer. If you can't get the preview function to work, see this post: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/r998058284
