Is there a way to save my hardware drivers if I plan to re-format my main drive? Or do I have to dig through the manufacture's site to get them back?

I suppose in theory one could do it, picking through many files and the registry, but it would be very difficult IMHO. Your best bet is to download the driver install files you need before the clean install. In the future you might want to keep all your driver and other software downloads to avoid the problem.

You do realize that besides installing hardware drivers you will also have to reinstall essentially all your other programs as well, don't you?
