MSIE not working correctly

I called the tech support regardng my MSIE because when I'd sign onto AOL, I kept getting an error message 501 Not implemented. The browser wasn't working. The tech spport ran a test to see if i could search the internet on MSIE. It worked. I signed onto AOL an the browser allowed me to search. The problem is tat thre is still a conflict when AOL opens up MSIE. When it opens it up, I get an error saying page not found, or somethig like that. I ran the MSIE test again, and it allowed me to search. I go back to AOL, and then MSIE doesn't work again. I don't know how to fix the problem. Please get back o me if you have any suggestions. Thanks, Joan

A window should open and an option to fix errors to I.E. Select the fix option and you will be told to reboot . Let your computer do this and then try what you want to do again. I hope this helps you, it certainly helped me. Of course sometimes you might get the message that I.E can't be repaired. If you get that one, uninstall IE and install it again.
