Click 'start', 'run', type 'msconfig', click on 'startup', uncheck anything that
you do not want to load at startup...becareful though of what you disable as somethings
are required for proper startup.
Reboot system.

i did that already, it did not work, but thanks for your quick responce. this is
a strange problem. i deleted it from add/remove, but it took the file off, but it
is still runningand the 7.0 upgrade won't install all the way cause the old program
is not totaly deleted. now i am stuck until i can get the old one off..

Click START ... RUN...then type in MSCONFIG press ENTER click STARTUP tab then uncheck
the program you wish to stop loading. BE CAREFULL not to uncheck vital programs.
Then YES to reboot.
