I have a question about Help!
My application doesn't work with or crashes Windows:
my computer refuses to run windows 98. when i start up my computer it begins to boot,
and just when it seems windows 98 will open, the computer shuts down. Please offer
assistance if you understand this problem, as i don't know if this is a problem with
the application, or with any particular physical component of the computer.

this can happen if c:\windows\system\vmm32.vxd or c:\windows\wininit.exe is missing
or corrupted.
try replacing wininit.exe in dos ... if that doesn't work, you'll almost certainly
need to reinstall windows to rebuild vmm32.vxd

Also check if it's the video i had this problem too as soon as it hit the video it
snaps off or hangs
check drivers
see if it can go into safe mode
it could even be a bad NIC card
