I have a question about Remove DoubleSpace/DriveSpace from memory:

OK lets say we had an Iomega Zip 100 disk that had been compressed using DriveSpace and we removed those files(or had a crash, wiped C ,installed win98se without said pain in the rump) and would like to recover this information on the affected disk, would one need to re install Drive space? I think I know the answer , But can it be done from in 98 se or do I need to reboot win 95 to do this ????? signed Moron who did the above mentioned thing !

a) check your Start / Programs / Accessories /
System Tools listing for DriveSpace -it might be there
already...

If not - Control Panel / Add-Remove Programs /
Windows startup Tab / System Tools / Disk
Compression Tools - tick it

Have your Win98 Disk ready.
This should install it in the above mentioned location.
