I have a question about Long Filename Back-Up. Whenever I start up my computer,
I get this box on my screen with Long Filename Back-Up, bad command line formant.
What does this mean and what do I do about it?

it means just that a file name somewhere it to long you will have to rename the file
to back it up
there is an article at the microsoft site that address this but for scandisk just
says you will have to change the name or you can try moving the offending file closer
to the root c:\ if that doen't fix it then you have to rename it..
does it give you the name of this file!!!

I found a bogus copy of program.exe in the windows\command folder using msconfig.
I unchecked it for startup and renamed it and fixed the problem.
