I have a question about Why can't I start Windows when I boot from a floppy?:

The article said to copy MSDOS.SYS to the floppy. I can't find msdos.sys file anywhere. Is it a hidden file? How can I get to it? If I do find it, do I copy that to the restore disk or to a new disk?

Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel and select Add-Remove
Programs. Now select the Startup Disk Tab. The rest is easy, just
follow the instructions and you will have an up to date disk.

Msdos.sys is a hidden file, so make sure that you can see hidden files in Explorer and then look in the root of your C: drive. In order to boot Windows from a floppy, DOS needs to know where to find the Windows folder, and this information is held in msdos.sys.
