create a new boot floppy or get one from bootdisk.com

Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel and select Add-Remove
Programs. Now select the Startup Disk Tab. The rest is easy, just
follow the instructions and you will have an up to date disk.

Msdos.sys is a hidden file, so make sure that you can see hidden files in Explorer
and then look in the root of your C: drive. In order to boot Windows from a floppy,
DOS needs to know where to find the Windows folder, and this information is held
in msdos.sys.
