Question about 'How do I stop Windows from connecting to the Internet every time I open my browser?'

I have a question about How
do I stop Windows from connecting to the Internet every time I open my browser?:
This does not work for me. After changing the settings, I exit and then open my brower
again(NS or IE), and it will bring up the DUN window. Any other ideas?

Yes, on the toolbar in IE go to tools, Internet options, click the connections tab
and set the browser to never dial a connection. After doing so DUN will not open
by default when opening IE.

This is indeed a very very annoying feature of windows. If all else fails, which
it did for me, just simply make a "fake" connection with nothing in it, and set it
as your default. For kicks you can name it "ya ya" or something. This way when
your browser tries to pull a quick one, it gets stuck with the fake connection!
Hope this helps.
Alex ;)
