You may give up ,if you like.......
But in the meantime ,you could try to find some DOS drivers for your soundcard at
their website....

My stepson likes to play the game sometimes.
You need the patches so it will connect to the server to download the games WAD's.
They have changes the way it talks to the server so the patch should fix you up!!
