Unwanted Explorer Window generated by Creative SB

I have a question about Get
Rid of the Unwanted Explorer Windows at Startup:
I've installed Creative Sound Blaster Live! software, and now every time I boot into
Windows the C:\Program Files\Creative folder opens on my desktop. I've scoured the
Registry keys (...Run, ...RunOnce, ...RunServices, etc.), installed and fiddled with
the System Policy Editor, tweaked with TweakUI, utilised the System Configuration
Utility, all to no avail. Now it's started opening the C:\ folder as well. Go figure.
Any ideas?

There could be a shortcut to these folders in your startup folder or
an option in Soundblaster that says go right to this folder when
starting. Check these out & get back.

C:\Windows\Win.ini has a line that starts with "Run=" and probably says something
like Run=C:\ or the like...happened to me once when I installed an ISA SB16.

I never did find a solution to this. It occurred under Windows 98, but was resolved
after I upgraded to Windows XP. That's a pretty expensive way to resolve it! But
XP is, frankly, worth every cent. Windows 98 was such a dog.
