Internet Explorer 5.5 has the same stupid scrolling list when you select the Favorites from the Menu bar. Even when installed on Windows 95. How do you get it to show multiple columns? Is there a registry fix just the fix for the Start menu list in Windows 98?

Use Netscape that is the default.

Open your internet explorer and select the Tools\Internet Options menu item or right click on your Internet Explorer icon and select properties. Click on the advanced tab and un-check the "Enable Personalized Favorites" menu item.

Sorry but that doesn't show up in my list.

That does not fix the problem. It only allows for a longer scrolling list (without hiding infrequently used favorites). The issue is to make IE duplicate NS bookmark format (simultaneous display of all favorites in multiple columns). Anyone?

been trying to figure this out too. workaround is it keep a favorites folder shortcut in the launch area beside the start menu. set it to open in the same window, and its easy navigating, esp with a large fav folder. a real solution would still be nice, though.
