I just uninstalled AOL's instant messenger from my windows 98 . Now, everytime I start up. I get this error message: missing startup file .DLL , ZMLPARSE.DLL can someone help me offline to get rid of this error message?? Thanks, John (mack165@juno.com).

> I found 2 fixes. Apparently this is related to AOL Instant Messenger, not Spinner. Anyway, try this: All you have to do to make the error go away is click on (start) then (run) then type (msconfig) then (OK). This will pop the msconfig menu screen. Select the (startup) tab and take the check mark out of the AIM name location. Click on (apply) and (OK). This will want you to restart your computer. When it restarts you will get a box that asks you about changes made in the start files. Select the option not to show the next time you reboot. This should work and fix the problem for windows 98 and windows ME users. or this: Even better and more thorough. Make sure AOL Instant Messenger is still uninstalled. Click on Start>Run, type in Regedit, click OK, Click on the + sign beside HKEY_Local_Machine, then Software, then Microsoft, then Windows, then Current Version, click on RUN. On the left you will see a list of services, right click on AIM or AOL Instant Messenger and DELETE. Once removed from the Registry it should no longer make the call to the missing DLL file and will only reappear if AIM is installed and improperly uninstalled in the future. If you already did what the last guy said from MSCONFIG you would find the entry under RUN-instead, however, you should still remove it. From google

Look for the file by clicking on the start find command and search the entire c drive. Delete all files named zmlparse.dll or whatever the file name it lists. Next look in the system.ini folder and delete any entries of this file (or place an rem in front of the line this will comment out that line and the next time it is read byu the operating system it will ignore it) last go into the registry and search the registry for the file name and delete all entries. This should be enough to resolve the issue.

Hi, well this issue I'm having is slightly different. Do you happen to know what to do about Juno error messages? It's happened to three of my juno accounts that I can no longer get in because of the errors. It usually happened when I was looking through emails and getting rid of junk in some old folders. The errors for one of them are: JCORE.DLL , MFC42.DLL , and then the same MFC42.DLL again. Do you know what to do to fix the accounts? Or anyone? Please reply to my stars0211@juno.com email, thanks!

Please do try these steps to resolve the error message related to Xmlparse.Dll: 1. Click on Start> Run 2. Type Msconfig and Enter. 3. Click on the Startup tab and uncheck all the entries listed there except Systray and Scanreg if they are listed there. 4. Now restart the computer once for the changes to take effect. This should resolve the issue. Note: You may also refer to the following web page for more assistance: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q312493
