Question about 'Resolving Hardware Conflicts'

I am having a problem with my graphics card and my computer has returned to pre installation color. I receive an error message telling me that I do not have any free Input/Output resources and that I must disaable another device. Everything worked well in the past, and my problem may be tied to recent downloads. Any suggestions on how to resolve my problem? Thanks, Tom

hmmm... i just fixed this exact problem around christmas on another machine. i'd suggest doing a virus scan with updated signatures (the machine that i worked on was infected with kak, though i don't know if the problem was related to the virus). once you've done that, remove the adapter from the device manager, restart, and let windows redetect and reinstall the software for it.
