Here is what I had to do.
In Registry Editor (Regedit.exe), create a DWORD value called IEWatsonEnabled and
set it to 0 in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

The error reporting dword iewatsonenabled solution stopped working!
I have used this solution before and it worked for me, but now it doesn't???? I had
to do a restore from my master disk, on a reformated hard disk do to the nasty klez
worm (I opened it, so I guess I deserved it!) anyway, after getting everything back
in order, I still have that darn error reporting crap, and I can't get it to go away
with the IEWATSONENABLED dword solution... any ideas? carol http://www.atimealone.com

Why wouldn't you send the error reports? Microsoft actually loves getting those
so they can fix the problems if the problem is on their end.

The error reporting has actually presented me with helpful solutions about three
times, so I think it is worth the extra 30seconds of my time to send it.

I was looking for a solution like this too, that's how I found this thread. I tried
this and you are right - it doesn't work. So I searched a little more and found something
that worked for me: "Reporter DeNagger I"
http://www.softwarecandy.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_free_shipping_info&cPath=2&products_id=42
Not free, but 99 cents is almost free. Worth my time, especially when I can reuse
it whenever I reinstall my XP (which unfortunately needs to be done too often, I
miss the days when I used to turn on my stereo system and it would simply work, no
bugs no patches no spyware, I guess it's over).
