Question about 'Restart Windows without Restarting your Computer'

Question about 'Restart Windows without Restarting your Computer'

I have a question about Restart
Windows without Restarting your Computer:
I tried restarting windows by holding down shift key durning restart and it worked
fine, but I installed the shortcut per the directions and it restarts the computer,
not just windows. I tried several times, but the results are the same. Any ideas?

Long shot...did you disable fast shutdown?

You shouldnt really use this function in win98,
but if you really really want to.... read this
