Url's/Links don't work OE6 &IE6

Just out of the blue my Links in Outlook Express 6 no longer work, The colour is
there and the little finger but thats as far as it goes, also most of the links in
IE6 just point to a blank screen, very very annoying!!!!! any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem when I first installed IE6, but fixed it with downloading the
'security fixes' from Windows Update.
Strange that MS are calling bugs 'security fixes' now...

All the Security fixes as well as all updates are up to date and it still does it.

I have OE and IE 6 and am experiencing the same problem A real pain in the butt.

reset defaults in IE.
