My question is just the opposite! How do you REMOVE the file/recent documents in applications running under WIN98, or any other component using the file/recent options? Stumpted on this one........ I have a question about Recent Documents are Missing from File Menus in Office XP:

To REMOVE Recent Docs items:

Easy way...
- install MS Powertoys
- run TweakUI (in Control Panel)
- go to IE page
- deselect 'Add New Documents to Documents on Start Menu'

done.
