Have you tried selecting 'cancel', when it comes up, and then choosing "Don't show....
next time"?

Larry: I have tried that and then when the screen pops
up again I put cancel. That doesn't stop it. Everytime that I turn the computer on
that blame screen pops up.
I have tried everything I know.

re: Question about 'Disable the Internet Connection Wizard'

HI,
Why not go to ( program, accesories - Tools) to system information, tools , configuration
menu, and disable (untick) the start up, so IE does not load?
OR
Right click IE, properties, menu, remove default settings - and in "connections"
give it an impossible modem and number so it cannot go anywhere anyway.
I disabled my IE to use dialup withouit corruption creeping in, and a mobile phone
to connect to real internet. Thais until 02 unilaterally stopped originating 2p per
minute paygo calls all day saturdays and sundays AND retained /stole forever £10
I had just bought air time with, not knowing 02 had up their charges by 35x and OFTEL
do not actually support the public AT ALL. The comfortable wel-paid bosses do as
they are told.
Hope this helps
