OR Right click IE, properties, menu, remove default settings - and in "connections" give it an impossible modem and number so it cannot go anywhere anyway. I disabled my IE to use dialup withouit corruption creeping in, and a mobile phone to connect to real internet. Thais until 02 unilaterally stopped originating 2p per minute paygo calls all day saturdays and sundays AND retained /stole forever £10 I had just bought air time with, not knowing 02 had up their charges by 35x and OFTEL do not actually support the public AT ALL.
