So, in regards to Step 3, how about for myself [vcache] MinFileCache=38400 MaxfileCache=98304 What do you think?

On a side note, shouldn't the virtual memory be the same min and max sizes?

I set my swap at 200/400 but with my 256MB it never gets used anyway. You can set the min and max to the same value if you want - it won't really matter unless you're into giant graphics stuff.

I have read a lot of articles about vcache and I still find the subject rather mysterious. Setting the min to a higher number will suck up more of your RAM from the very start, but then again you have RAM to burn.

I suggest you use System Monitor (sysmon.exe) and track things like Memory Manager: Unused Physical Memory, Memory Manager: Disk Cache Size and Memory Manager: Swapfile in Use and see how your vcache settings affect these values. BTW, you vcache numbers should be in multiples of 1024. Example: 1024x37=37888.
