tryn too download a updated verison of a virus scan

i have a verison of dr.soloman virus scan and im tryn too down load an updated verison of it and everytime i try too. i get close too the end of the down load i get kicked off line .what do i need too do differently .thanks for any answers you might have

I don't know the names offhand but their are smaer download programs that will resume where you left off when you reconnect.

If you haven't done this, go to Control Panel>Internet Options>Connections>Settings>Advanced>Uncheck 'Disconnect if idle for....minutes'. If your ISP has a default disconnect after, say, 30 minutes, then set you email checker to check every 15 minutes as Peter suggested.
