make sure windows is detecting the monitor properly. if it is, remove both the display adapter and the monitor from the device manager, then reboot and let windows detect and reinstall the software for both.

Hi- I'm having the same problem, but since I have almost no actual computer knowledge, could you please be more specific with how to see if "windows is detecting the monitor properly"...also, is it possible that even if windows is detecting it properly that it won't reinstall them?? I just don't want to do something and mess the computer up even more! -Thanks
