I can't get into windows update. it says i need to install a component but it doesn't
tell me what or how.

Are you referring to the big blue window that pops up
and says you need to install "component control" ??
(I think that's what it's called......)
Does it not give you a Yes or NO button when it
pops up.....??
(or ACCEPT or DECLINE.........??)
