Try refreshing the screen by right-clicking at a blank area of the desktop. If that
fails, download TWEAKUI from Microsoft. It is free and has a repair/rebuild icon
option.

You have a virus.....Run the fixtool at Norton.
W32.Badtrans.B@mm/FIX
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/tools.list.html
The worm also gets those addresses from files stored in Temporary Internet Files.

You can download a shareware product called EzDesk. It will save the icon locations
on your desktop. It works great!! It has saved me many times.

It's probably the W32.Magistr virus. I gave the wrong answer earlier....go to symantec
for a fix tool.

>This is one of many Hoaxes on the Net. Go to www.antivirus.com and get a free virus
scan. On the Home Page click: Free Tools, On the next page click: Scan without registering.
Once the download begins wait for the prompt and then click: scan my computer for
viruses. When what ever you have comes up. Call your antivirus software vendor,
McAfee @:Purchase online at http://www.mcafeehelp.com (U.S. and Canadian Residents)
Hours: 6:00 A.M. - 12:00 midnight Mountain Time, 7 days a week.
Cost: $29 per incident.
or Norton @: (541) 465-8645 (No charge for 90 days from date of first call)
There they will give you the registry fix, and after that you should be cookin' with
gas........Redneck Man
