Question about 'Get rid of Shortcut Residue'

Question about 'Get rid of Shortcut Residue'

I have a question about Get
rid of Shortcut Residue:
I just downloaded and installed the MS security updates for 3/28/02. As soon as
I did this the overlay shortcut arrows reappeared on the desktop shortcuts. I attempted
to correct this by using the options in tweakui, but even setting the option to "no
arrow", the arrows still remain.
Any ideas??

Thier is a small program here that can get rid of the shortcut arrows..in the Free
Utility Downloads section,
top right box, near the bottom.

Did you ever find a solution to this issue. I did the same thing and now I can't
modify or get rid of the arrows at all. I really don't just want to get rid of them
but correct the issue that is wrong.

Reinstalling Internet Explorer completely solves ALL these problems. Hope if works
for you.
