The articles refer to 'nets' while it shld be refering to 'nettrans' in the registry. I apply this and I found that it works well with xp ics and you shld have apply this to all the 'tcpip' found in the 'nettrans' folder. For this, it work well with all my win98 pc except one. This particular Win98 is a bit peculair as when i enter the MaxMTU and reboot the machine. I find that the MTU that needs to be fragmented drop to the maxMtu I key in. So if I put in 1300, when I reboot 1300 would need to be fragmented, and so on. So in other words, perpetually I could not surf any sites though ping is not an issue. Any insight on this?
