C:\DIR /ah
Will show hidden files in the root of your C: drive.
Typing C:\DIR /?
will show you the switches and what they do.

Right click on desktop & choose properties. Choose web tab. Click button for folder
options. Click yes to the pop up message to view folder options. Then click the tab
at the top called view. Look at the folder called hidden files. Click the circle
to the left of "show all files". Then when you look through your computer, it will
show the hidden folders.
