im in the middle of anything, and then im bombed with a entire screen of"about blank"
it's getting to me because i dont know how to stop it or where its coming from (i
have a thought its from mr. gates joint.)
i would appreciate any help to destroy this monster.\\thanks

Are you talking about pop ups when surfing the net?? If so get POW from Analogx.
That will stop the majority of them.

I have the same problem. It appears to have started when I downloaded and update
of Microsoft Windows. I have no idea as to how to correct the situation. It is
an automatic Internet connection. Does anyone have any idea as to how to stop this.

I am unable to receive any mail because of a splash of "about:blank" on the screen
that cancels out building of hotmail messages. I've reported it to hotmail and have
received no response from them.

try running this command and it should clear up the problems. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\regsvr32.exe
urlmon.dll
a space is between the exe and the urlmon.dll
