I have a problem not unlike the "i cant see some websites" problem which your fine
guide helped me solve (even thou there was a small flaw in the windows 98 fix :).
I cant send mails over a certain size. If i send.. like one line of text it goes
through fine, but if i send 50 lines it just stalls during the sending. It works
when i send from the ICS server (192.168.0.1) but not from my primary client (192.168.0.2).
All my mates that come here for LANs have the same problem, so its not only my fail
win98se...(they run w2k). I was hoping that the webpage fix would help me get rid
of this problem too, but i was wrong.

Yes i have....and it says somewhere on that page "NOTE: These instructions apply
only if you are using Wingate 2.X or another proxy-based program.
They do not apply if you are using ICS, Sygate, or any other NAT based sharing program
or hardware router."
And im using ICS ....so :(

I have the same problem. I have reinstalled W98SE and IE55SP2/OE on the host PC.
I have reinstalled IE55SP2/OE on the client pcs. I have put the full mail server
names into OE, I have even tried using the IP addresses. Still I can only send small
emails out. I can receive everything though... Please help!

I had the same problem as you. What the solution was to simply change my Network
card. I'm on high speed internet and not sure if you are or not. If you are not on
high speed, i'd suggest updating your modem drivers or a new modem.
Hope this helps
Jeff
