Every time I would unistall it and open hotmail it would lag while it re-installed the program. When I removed Outlook Express and started using another email program it cured the problem. I think the whole mess started after trying and removing MSN Explorer. I have never used Outlook, too many chances for worms & virii to hijack it (don't keep an address book either; just hit reply :-) ), as one klesmer worm attempted to do yesterday. No damage caused..... I'll see if I can find that link in regedit and detach it from OE, as someone else suggested.
