I have a question about Clean
up your hard disk:
I wish to deframent my hard drive but it only does 14% and won't complete.I have
shut off viral type programs made no difference . I also ran scandisk and disk clean.

My Lord! Someone with an intelligent answer to the Defrag question. Just reboot
your system using Safe Mode. Don't "CTRL-ALT-DEL" runarounds. They never (or nearly
never) do an adequate job. Just run Windows in SAFE MODE (usually by pressing F8
during bootup) and then run Defrag in this mode. When it's done, reboot again and
run Windows in normal mode.
There are some real idiots giving bad advice out there.

I am new at this, how do I get to the safe mode to defrag my hard drive?
