I have a question about Prevent
Programs From Changing Your File Types:
Hi There,
I read the articles but I could not find the answer to the following question:
I was trying to install a plugin from adobe in order to be able to see SVG files
since I tryed first by downloading the exe file and installing it locally and the
installation doesn´t seems to work I figured out that running the exe file from
its location probably will work I did it at my job PC and it works. So I decided
to do at home but whenever I tryed to run the installation the browser always
try to download the file so I decided to change the mime-types from my browser
for the exe files but I did not realise really what I was just about to do it will
mess
my whole system so I did it. The result is I am not able to run any exe file
or appliacation with exe extension how do I fix this ?? Any idea is welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Juan Antonio Celaya

If this was in the last 5 days, boot to DOS, type scanreg
/restore, and pick a date before the event. This will restore your registry to what
it was before you blew it.
