I downloaded something and it changed all of my folder icons. I want to change them back to the default yellow folder but i've tried everything and nothing seems to work. i've reset my windows desktop/theme and it still didn't work. How do i get the yellow folders back?

The best suggestion would be to reboot into dos and run scanreg/restore and pick a date before this happened to restore.

I have apparently done the same as you on my Winxp. I've used the system restore utililty to no avail. Have you solved the problem?
