I have a question about What
to Throw Away:
I have a program called Space Odyssey. It cleans up usless stuff on your computer.
It showed me a file that has DRVCLN1.$$$. There's 5 of them and they hold a lot
of bytes. I wanted to know what they belonged to befor I do anything with them.

Hi Ron,
The only references I could locate led me to articles contained in the PC 911website.

You can safely get rid of these, if you want to take my word for it, that is. :)
I just keep adding to my list, and as you see, that extension you mentioned is in
the list.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't just go posting things that can get ppl. in
trouble. I've gathered those from various sources over time, and from other people
that I have confidence in. If you don't have confidence in me, I'm sorry. Maybe there
are others that do...
I don't just start deleting files, without knowing that they're junk files. A lot
of them are posted on different Windows sites, too. Something that's been suggested
is to create a folder to put them in...keep them for about a month.....just to be
sure.
