I have a question about Connect to a Windows XP or 2000 system with a Windows 95, 98, or Me system over a Network:

The thing no one tells you..... In win xp you must name the user you create the same name as the computer. For ex. if the name of your pc is "hello"... user you create in xp must be: user - hello password: (whatever)
