Open Ie ...go to:Tools>>> Options>>> General and select blank.... This will work unless a program has hi-jacked the registry option for this ...if so come back for further advice... 'evonok'

I am afraid my Internet Explorer 6.0 has been hi-jacked and no matter how many times I change the Home Page in Tools>Options>General, an annoying unwanted homepage appears. There must be some application hidden in the system that overrides my preferred homepage every time I restart Windows2000. I would appreciate any help on how to get rid of this hi-jacking. Thanks, Omar

Load the free program Spybot Search and Destroy. It will run a search for all hijackers, parasites, spybots, tracker cookies, etc., and let you pick and choose those you want destroyed. You can also run it in the background and it will alert you if something tries to install itself on your computer, and let you choose to block the install. It's great!!!
