Additional settings in MSDOS.SYS

In addition to the settings described in the article, I am aware of two others. "AutoScan" controls whether ScanDisk runs when windows starts. I use AutoScan=1, which causes ScanDisk to run if files were left open because Windows did not shut down correctly last time. "WinVer" presumably records exactly what it says. My Win 98SE installation has WinVer=4.10.2222

I am working on a way to get John Catchpole to shut down, but would appear he is
an errant virus.
