Choosing whether to boot into DOS

By setting BootGUI=0, as recommended in the article, you will always boot automatically
into DOS. If you want to start Windows, you will have to manually enter the "win"
command. I prefer to use BootGUI=1, BootMulti=1, BootMenu=1 and BootMenuDelay=3.
This displays the boot menu and gives me the choice of booting into DOS. If I have
not entered a choice within 3 seconds, the system automatically loads Windows.

When the initial memory testing has finished, then keep pressing the F8 key non-stop,
till you get the win boot screen, and then select the option you want to enter

Different versions, different keys:
I also run Win98, but the applicable key is Ctrl; F8 doesn't work.
Still, editing msdos.sys and setting BootMenu to 1 and BootMenuDelay (BootDelay?)
to x (where "x" is the number of seconds to delay) is easier.
And even easier: MS provides TweakUI and it can do this easily.
