Hello - I fixed a start-up problem that I had by going into safe mode and then restoring the previous day's registry, but I'm still getting the screen that you get when you are in safe mode at start-up. (Black, doslike screen with 6 options.) I select option #1in that screen (normal) - and eveything works fine after that. My question is, how do I stop that screen from coming up at each start up? Except for seeing that screen, everything appears to be working fine - I think I just down loaded some bad freeware. Thanks - Joe

Select START/RUN, type 'MSCONFIG' in the 'Open' box and press enter. When the System
Config Utility opens, click the 'Advanced' button. If the selection 'Enable Startup
Menu' is checked, uncheck it, click 'OK' then 'Apply' and 'OK' again.
