I have a question about Do
I still need CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT?: hi i have a bit of a question has
any one seen a message like this in there autoexec bat before @if exist:\check mbr
quiet (validate mbr,not a tsr ) just seems a funny thing to be in this place does
anyone know what it is please

I'm not certain, but I think it's put there by System Commander. I know that I have
it in my autoexec.bat, but it wasn't there when Windows was installed, and System
Commander is the only program that I have installed on this PC that in any way affects
the MBR.

thanks michael but i'm pretty sure i never installed system commander on this hardrive
,it just looked a bit strange to me to like some spy ware or something a secret sign
in and a strange place to be in autoexec bat i was there actually looking for the
turn off switch for msn messenger it constantly wants to update with an annoying
message i unloaded loadgm exe but it still is there so now i wonder what loadqm really
does lol

I also have the loadqm.exe coming up on mine wanting me to close it as an illegal
operation. It's getting quite annoying as it does it for every page or what have
you. How do you uninstall it?
