Hi Robyn, Here is something to check to possibly resolve the problem. 1 Check Starup --On the start menu. See if the following or something close to the following is there. C:\windows\Explore.exe/n./e./root.c:\ Then check Autoexec.bat If any thing like the C:\Windows\Explore.exe C:\Explore.exe /root.c:\--------is there then REM it. Check Config again and see if the following is listed there:C:\Windows\Explorer.SCF--------- If so REM it. Now you need to check the run folders in regedit.exe. Here's How. Start -- Run ---Regedit ---HKEY__LOCAL__MACHINE ---Software---Microsoft ---Windows ---Current Virsion---- Now look in the folders that Are-----Run,Run-,Runonce,RunonceEXE, Runservices. See if you have anything that point to the following. C:\windows\Explore.exe/n./e./root.c:\ C:\Explore.exe /root.c:\ C:\root\C:\n. /e./ If so Click Registry IN the left top corner and select Export Registry file. Save it in my Documents. You can always MERGE it back to registry if you make a mistake. Now delete the entery in the right pain windows. These are a few tricks to try hope one of them solves it for you Later DUDE D
