I have a question about Dealing with Bad Memory (RAM):

Carol, can I run my DOS games on this computer? I have many of them, but I dont have the room to set up the dos computer. I really miss some of them. This computer is 486 w/pentium MMX processor. Everything else seems to be just fine. Thanks, Elaine

Hi,

Windows 95 & 98 are DOS based operating systems, so you already have DOS installed.

I'm certainly not the most experienced person on this board, when it comes to either
DOS or Windows, so there's no need to direct your questions to me. Although, I take
that as a compliment.

That's great that things are going well, since you took care of those startups, etc.
I'm glad to hear that!

Carol

If space is a factor, but you have a few extra bucks.... Look into getting a KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) switch. It allows you to use one keyboard, monitor and mouse with multiple CPU's without having to plug and unplug everything. Price varies. Also you can then have just one of those "really great" monitors and use it on everything.
