I had to shut down my pc down ileagaly and when i started it up it came back in safe mode.when i got it back in regular mode i tried to go to my cd recorder and i got an error saying it would be shut down.I un installed my built in cd recorder and tried to re install but it would not install are reconize that i was trying to install If any one can help please do it for a simple person.Im not real computer savy Thank's Dan

Go to control panel and click on system folder and from there click device manager tab, Find your cd and select it and check properties, You can try to fix by refreshing driver. If this dosen't fix it come back to device manager and remove the cdrom and close out and reboot and the system should find new hardware(your cdrom). hi
