Question about 'Customize the Start Menu Button'

Regarding Customize
the Start Menu Button:
When you click on the Start button the menu pops up and on the left side of the menu
there is a blue bar with the text "Windows 98" displayed. Is there a way to change
that bar or the text it displays?
Thanks in advance.

Of course you realize that you can get rid of it all together by right clicking the
bar on the bottom then properties, task bar options, and uncheck the "show small
icons in start menu" box..

Actually, I had forgotten about that. What I was trying to do was set it to something
custom if possible.
