The usual support costs will apply to additional support questions and issues that do not qualify for the specific update in question.' I received an answer they wouldn't charge anything. Asked my name, address, windows version and an e-mail address. The person on the other end of the line supplied me with a case number (in case the e-mail didn't arrive). That was it. I found the link to the SJORDAN site now. Downloaded the file and will scan it for possible viruses. I hope my problem will be resolved and that maybe this posting will solve the same problem for others. Thanks to everyone who cooperated by posting a reply, they were of enormous help. Start Windows in SAFE mode 2. Execute the patch 3. Reboot when it tells you to. The splash screen makes it appear to be directly from Microsoft.
