Question about 'Get rid of Shortcut Residue'

I have a question about a lost shortcut popup that is remaining after the Executable
file has been deleted. I established a new dial up connection for my ISP to correct
some type of modem error. I deleted the old shortcut dialup through Add/Remove programs.
But at boot-up, a popup box with the nefarious flashlight pops up and can't find
the old short cut. How do I get rid of it. I have a similar problem with a pop-up
screen with RUNDLL32 in the blue line which is looking for a Tweakui shortcut which
I had also deleted through the Add/Remove Programs. All suggestions welcomed. rsg

If they are invalid startup entries, try running StartMan. It should detect
them and prompt you to remove them. If that doesn't work out, there are
other options.

You should post your question on page one of the forum Rob. Below are my most recent
suggestions for any Rundll32 errors. If this doesn't help, re-post as suggested...........
There is a variant of CWS that runs a Rundll32.vbe (script) file called CWS.Alfasearch.
The updated CoolWebShredder should remove it though (be sure to
use the CWS update option).
If you need a copy of this file, follow the simple instructions below
to replace it.
- Download this copy of RUNDLL32.EXE. (Win98 & Win98 SE)
- Go to the location you downloaded the file, right-click it and select COPY.
- Next select Start/Run, type C:\WINDOWS in the 'Open' box and press enter.
- Now right-click in the Windows folder that opened and select PASTE.
- If prompted to overwrite the file, answer 'Y'....YES.
Running a free online Virus scan, followed by a SpyBot scan is also suggested:
