I just read the Customize
the Tray article, which doesn't really explain much, so i downloaded the program,
and looked at the help, but it doesn't tell you where to insert it, where do you
insert it?

BV, by insert I take it you mean install? You don't have
to install this program at all. You can place it in any
folder or drive that you like or even leave it on your
desktop. Double click it if your set up for double clicks
and then right click on the new icon it installs in the
tray area. Then follow the directions as refered to in
the article. You should be able to figure it out from
there. I can't speak from experience because I haven't
used that program, but remember ... the less things
running in the background ... the more resources
available to run you applications. So don't add to the
tray unless you need to.

no, when i say insert, i mean, when u view the help, it tells you the syntax, which
you need to insert somewhere in order to get the file to display iin the tray, but
it does't tell you where to insert that syntax

Okay, I installed it to see what you are talking about.
They are talking about "Start, Run". If you unzippedthe
Tray.exe to the desktop, you would go to "Start"
then "Run" and type: "C:\Windows\Desktop\Tray.exe"
(then a space) (then the name of the program you
want including it's path) (then a space) (then if you
want, an icon file) (then press enter).

Try adding "" around like this:
"C:\My Documents\dom's\Tray.exe C:\Program Files\EditPlus 2\editplus.exe"
