Question about 'Limit Access to Users'

I have a question about Limit Access to Users:

I've just read the instructions on how to run the System Policy Editor (poledit.exe) and they are rather cryptic to me. Would anyone be kind enough to explain these instructions in more detail. I simply have no real idea where to begin. I thank you in advance.

Protecting computers from accidental removal of programs

I am new to this site - I have looked but cannot find this issue addressed. My handicapped daughter loves her computers and clicks all over trying to figure how things work. She recently wiped everything (all programs and os) off her XP Pro computer and now I see she removed Frontpage and a Wizard from her Win98 computer. She cannot read so she opens all kinds of files, clicking and clicking. I just realized that if her comuters were on a Network, I could restrict her ability to affect many files. I have a laptop with XP Home and I have DSL with a Linksys router. Her XP Pro is connected thru the router but her Win98 is stand alone. I have no idea how to set up a Network. I have read the user's guide and help, but I just can't get it. Does anyone have a straightforward way for me to do this? And am I correct that setting up a Network will protect her computers? Thanks for your help.

~Tina

I would install something like DeepFreeze.

Then all that's necessary is rebooting to restore the system.
